If you haven’t seen an Andrew McMahon and The Wilderness show…You are missing out. Get out and see this show!!!

Andrew McMahon And The Wilderness at Mavericks Live!

Andrew and the boys really know how to put on a show for their fans that they will remember forever,… and they did just that last night at Mavericks Live in Jacksonville Florida on the  Upside Down Flowers 2019 U.S. Tour. And if you think helping Andrew crowd surf thru the crowd in a giant sun floaty and turning the crowd in a sea of water and light giant flowers, then this is the show for you!

When Andrew McMahon went “into the wilderness” he started a transformative journey that was both introspective and imaginative, that journey comes full circle with the release of his third full-length album Upside Down Flowers, Out now and can be found at

Upside Down Flowers’ 11 songs are slice-of-life vignettes animated by McMahon’s vivid lyrics and dynamic melodies and the band belted out a lot of those songs and many more of the fan favorites. This show last night had all the songs that kept the crowd energized, cheering and having fun for many hours with the likes of “Everything Must Go” that started the night off and into many covers from the like of Chers “Believe” as well as a few from Something Corporate and Jack’s Mannequin that fit in masterfully!!

The band pulled out all the stops with a 24 song set that seemed like it was never going to end, but it did have to end, and the encore of the night was epic, the night ending in huge hit “Cecilia and the Satellite”.

A band to look out for, Flor out of Hood River Oregon, opened up the epic night and brought great approval from the crowd and I am sure made a lot of new fans this night with their alt-rock sound. Make sure you go check them out!!

This show has way too many words to describe it!! words like FANTASTIC, FUN, AND EPIC are just a few that I can think of that will!!
