For over 15 years, Alter Bridge has been a band known for blurring the line between hard rock and heavy metal. Building upon the sound that has won the band worldwide critical acclaim and a devoted global fan base, the band returns with their sixth studio album, Walk The Sky. The album is scheduled for worldwide release on October 18th via Napalm Records.

The fourteen-track work of art marks a creative high-point for the quartet comprised of Myles Kennedy on vocals/guitars, Mark Tremonti on guitars/vocals, Brian Marshall on bass and Scott Phillips on drums, and all the magic start with track one.”One Life“, with the melodic vocals give you the feeling of flying through the air weightless on a cloud of music and readies for for the journey of a lifetime. Your ride continues with “Godspeed“, This track take you high in the sky soaring to heights you never thought you could musically. Myles vocals wrap you up and lift you up emotionally and physically, he just has one of the distinct voices that surrounds your soul and never lets go.

Forever Falling” starts out very innocent , but then hits you are with riffs that will make your blood in your veins speed through your body like a runaway freight train. This song will get your hyped up and ready to rock where ever you are!! If you like “Forever Falling” you will love “Clear Horizon“, this tune hits hard and often, with thundering riff for days by Mark and Brian’s bass hits low and rattles your teeth.

The album ends with “Dying Light“, bring this album full circle with melodic vocals that hit home for everyone. Its haunting lyrics and music makes you sit back and absorb everything around you and ponder many things that are going on around the world.

I would have to say this is one of Alter Bridges best work to date, The diversity of the music and feeling of the vocals are unmatched by the other albums. The guys really put their heart and soul into this one and the results are going to take them to the next level.. I would give it a solid 9.5 out of 10!!
