L.A. Guns gives Jack Rabbits ‘No Mercy’!
If you were around in the 80’s and you listened to rock-n-roll, then you knew L.A. Guns! And you knew they were one of the top L.A. band to make it big and is still rocking the stage all these years later.
L.A. Guns with Tracii Guns is back and rocking the hell out of venues at the pleasure of Guns fans everywhere! Tracii and the guys Phil Lewis, Michael Grant, Johnny Martin and Shane Fitzgibbon made a quick stop in Jacksonville Florida at Jack Rabbits Live, to give the die-hard Guns fans a show they have been waiting for years, before hitting the high sea on the Monsters Of Rock cruise to jam with the best of the best of the 80′ bands.
LAG hit the stage as the crowd rocked to Ozzy blasting as their into music and proceeded to blow the roof of the small club in downtown Jacksonville to a great crowd of fans that lined up an hour early to get a prime spot up front to see their favorite band. They raddled though 18 kick ass guns song, some old and some new, the fans wanted to hear them all, they especially wanted to hear the ones that would bring back memories of their younger years of rocking out to the band in the 80’s and that they did. We heard “The Devil Made Me Do it” to start off the set of 18 and ripped off favorites like “Electic Gypsy” to fans singing word or word with Phil. The hits just kept coming with ” Bitch Is Back” and “Sex Action” before Phil and Tracci dropped off stage to have the rest of the guys do a killer version of “Purple Rain” by Prince that had the crowd going crazy for more, and more they got with”Never Enough” and ended the show with one of their big hits “The Ballad Of Jayne” and “Rip and Tear“. The crowd was into the whole show, with singing and screaming to ever song the guys played. The band had great energy the flowed down from the stage into the audience. THE PLACE WAS BUZZING WITH EXCITEMENT, AND THE SHOW WAS AMAZING!… A MUST SEE!
Budderside opened up the show and killed it as well. BUDDERSIDE have made a huge name for themselves in their native Los Angeles and beyond, and plan to spread their wings even further this winter. The band features Stoneman from Massachusetts on bass, Rich Sacco from Buffalo on drums, Colin Reid from Vancouver, BC on lead guitar, and from Northern California, guitar player, and vocalist Patrick Stone. This is a band that I have not heard much of before the show, but these guys can crank this shit out!!! Keep an eye out for these guys, they have been signed by Motorhead Music and they are making the rounds and kicking ass. They have a great infectious energy on stage and the music is top notch.
Infectious, gritty, contagious and altogether dangerous, BUDDERSIDE demand your fullest focus and most engaged attention.
