Silver Snakes open the show early to a lack luster crowd do that the 6pm start on a weekday, and heavy traffic didn’t help the situation any as well. But, they came out and put on a kick ass set to their fans that did make it to the show to see them, They rocked the place like there was 20k strong listing and watching them. They are out supporting their new record ‘SABOTEUR that is really killer !! for check it out ! The people what got there early really got a great treat to see this up and coming band that will some be making headlines.
Korn did a great job as usual … for 80 minutes. If you stuck with the band the last 10 years, don’t expect to hear anything from 2007-16 (other than a few cuts from the new album). That’s OK, I expected more of a “greatest hits” setlist for this show, but there were still a lot of classics that didn’t make the cut. An extra 25 minutes might have allowed for, just for example, “Got the Life,” “Thoughtless,” “Clown,” “Narcissistic Cannibal,” and a surprise deep cut. Too bad.No band was more instrumental to the ‘90s ascendancy of nu metal than Korn. Credited with inventing the genre through their unique fusion of metal and hip hop, and Jonathan Davis mentioned that their firs album ” Life is Peachy ” is turning 20 years old very soon. So in celebration of that, they went into “GOOD GOD” and “TWIST” with the crowd going insane. Korn still have it…and they have not missed a step in their show and performance you have to do see them if you have a chance to see how just insanely good they are on this tour.
