Hardcore band Stasis Signs To No Sleep Records, Stream their EP 'My State of Decay'
Melodic hardcore band Stasis have announced that they have signed to No Sleep Records. With that, the label is re-releasing the band’s 2019 EP, My State of Decay, out today on digital streaming platforms.
A ferocious and intense Canadian melodic / post hardcore band hailing from Kelowna, BC, Stasis has been making waves around their local scene. Blending styles of the metalcore genre from classic acts such as Killswitch Engage, Poison the Well and Misery Signals, to new-wave bands comparable to Counterparts, The Ghost Inside and Being As An Ocean.
“It was unexpected and tremendously exciting when No Sleep got in contact with us, and the fact that they’ve put out records by bands past and present that are some of our favorite artists only adds to our excitement,” says the band in a joint statement.
“We’ve got some new music in the works, which we strongly believe is the best music we’ve written collectively to date. To say we’re grateful to have the chance to be releasing our music with the aid of Chris and No Sleep Records would be a vast understatement.
We’d like to thank everyone that has stuck with us over the years and we couldn’t be more proud to be a part of such an amazing team.”
My State of Decay expresses the growth and maturity since the formation of the band Stasis. Consisting of 6 anthems and accenting bands such as Counterparts, Heart in Hand, Misery Signals and Hundredth, each song contains their own individual theme that convey hardship, loss of a loved one, and finding one-self through life.
