April 3, 2020 – The Squirrel Nut Zippers today have released a recent re-recording of their song “La Grippe” which originally appeared on the band’s debut album The Inevitable. The song “La Grippe 2020” is available on all download and streaming services.

Band leader Jimbo Mathus commented, “Inspired over 25 years ago by no less than real life events, historical research, (Spanish flu), (Edgar Allen Poe’s “king pest”), and other sources including “Popular Delusions & the Madness of Crowds”. The Squirrel Nut Zippers are here for you and we shall return triumphant.”

Due to the ongoing global health crisis, the Squirrel Nut Zippers recently rescheduled their March/April shows for September and October. All previously purchased tickets are valid for the new dates which are listed below.
