LAKESHORE Ben Lionetti Interview! Premiere Video for Single "Mountain View” ; Announce the OK, Psychopath Tour

LAKESHORE premiered their latest video for single “Mountain View” yesterday on Alternative Press. The band has announced the OK, Psychopath Tour that begins on April 29th in Chicago, Illinois in support of the release.

“We are super excited to share this song with everyone, not only does the song hold deep personal meaning to us, but working with such an accomplished producer as Sahaj Ticotin (Motley Crue, Starset) and Directer Tom Flynn (Buckcherry, Lamb Of God) really made this vision come together. We are very excited to share more music with you soon, and to see what else 2020 has in store.” – LAKESHORE

Tell us a little bit about the band and how long you have been together for some of our readers that may not know about the band?Lakeshore was started by my brother and myself about two years ago. We like to consider ourselves a modern rock ‘n’ roll group with a fresh sound , having nostalgic undertones and a positive message.

What got you into music and what keeps you going night after night playing? My father was in bands all my life so growing up I just naturally gravitated towards it. The music itself keeps me going. It is my passion.

So, what is new with the band?..New Album out? New Videos?
We just released a new song called “Mountain View” that premiered on Alternative Press. It was recorded by Sahaj Tacotin who recently did songs for Motley Crue for that movie ‘the dirt’. The music video was directed by Tom Flynn whose past projects include Lamb of God and Buckcherry.  It was a pleasure working with both of them.
If you didn’t become a musician, what would you  be doing right now?I’d probably be a chef or dead.
What is the weirdest or funniest question you have ever been asked? All of them

If you can have your fans remember you for one thing, what would that be?
Saving rock ‘n’ roll!

On a scale of one to 2593, How good is your new single compared to your last single? (my attempt at humor, but please still answer)3000
What do you feel is the best song you have released to date and why?.It’s definitely the latest single “Mountain View.” I am not only saying that because I like the song and believe in it, but the response has been super awesome so far so it’s very humbling.
Do you think you can get any better as a musician/singer? And if so, How would you achieve that?
Absolutely “practice makes better” -Branden Morgan

If you could give your fans one random fact about you that you think they should (or should “not” know) about you what would that be?I am super into meditation, visualization and hypnosis. I have all sorts of crystals and stones, so if you ever want to get me a present that should narrow it down for you.

You’re a new addition to the crayon box. What color would you be and why?One that includes all the colors in one – but not black .. just one that colors like a rainbow.

Who are you inspired by?My dad, my brother, my band, and some of my hero’s who are the greatest rock legends ever to grace the face of this planet.

What’s an average day like for you?
I wake up at 6 am and immediately make my bed, light candles, spread sage, get a cup of coffee and then sit and just meditate for an hour or two. Have you ever dealt with performance anxiety?Yes, but very rarely.
Tell me about your favorite performance venues? It’s hard to say just one, so that’s not a fair question!

What advice would you have for someone wanting to follow in your footsteps?Work hard and never give up!  Stay positive! Win at all costs, be relentless, be patient, ruthless, but caring and  don’t ever let your beliefs keep your head down and  keep your eye on the prize.
