People start lining up early at the House Of Blues in Orlando Florida for a band that is celebrating being a band for 10 years…Highly Suspect..and Special guest!!! The band hit the sunshine state on the end of this leg of their tour before they hit Europe let of the tour the next day…So fans came out to rock the hell out and send them off to europe with one hell of a party!!
The stage was set as the line outside the venue went around the whole place. You literally could not see the end of it. The doors open at 730 sharp and the line of fans filed in to fill the place. The buzz in the air inside the venue was electric and could feel the energy in the room that was about to be release like no other.
Electric Palace was the special guest band to kick the night off on this leg of the tour and came out and crushed it!!..The band got the crowd warmed up and got them to release some of the built up energy with some great music. Electric Palace is a duo consisting of TJ Rosenthal and Joe Zdaa that fills the room with Indie/rock sound and had the crowd pumped up for Highly Suspect!
With a slight break to set up for Highly Suspect..but the crowd was energized and ready for Highly to hit the stage!…830 on the nose, the lights in the house dime and the lights on stage come up as the band members run on stage at goes into “Bath Salts“, which got the crowd singing and energized!!..You can tell the band was feeding off the crowd from the first note..the band interacted with the crowd and you can tell they were hyped for this show, which was the last us stop on this run before they head to europe. The band ripped though 20 songs that got the SOLD out crowd ragging, and singing to the top of their lungs for a few hours to songs like “Arizona“, “Everything Is Sex” and their new hit “16“, and ended the show with “Wolf” which ended one of the most epic show at the House of Blues.
Don’t hesitate to check out Highly Suspect when in Europe and when they come back to the states…I will tell you this..It is one show you don’t want to miss!!
