Blink 182 and Lil Wayne Bring The Heat To Jacksonville!!

blink-182 and Lil Wayne  brought their summer tour to Daily’s Place on Monday, July 29 at 7:30 p.m. They were joined by special guest, Neck Deep. From the beginning of the announcement of this tour, there were people that said this was an odd pairing but i thought it was one smart move by both to bring the diversity of both bands.

This show brought me back. First off, Neck Deep really brought the energy to start and sounded great. Lil Wayne came out and delivered. Put everyone in a great mood. His dj went a little long before Weezy came out and it lost the crowd energy a bit.

Blink was blink and really only one song suffered not having Tom. Matt Skiba can hit the notes. Just doesn’t have the same “accent”. Still a great night. Had a blast.

The setlist is the standing ground of this tour, not to mention Travis’s crazy drum solo! This is a must see and if you only know a few songs from either artist I advise you buy tickets for the nearest upcoming show! These guys never come to disappoint. Side note: Would have been really great for them to play together on the “What’s My Age Again/A Milli” like advertised for the tour. Some may not want to see them mash up their songs but I feel with these two artists it fits perfectly.

I’ve been to a lot of concerts in my life. This one really stands out and might be my favorite. Giant dance party. Good vibes. Can’t stop talking about it.

Dont take it from me…Here are a few other review from people what were at the show

Loved hearing Blink 182 again, they are always Great! We actually went as a family my kids are older but love Blink 182 also. Loved how they played for the lawn seats too thought that was Awesome. Not to thrilled Lil Wayne backed out. I had no desire to see him but my kids wanted too, and I did pay for him too. Would go see Blink 182 again!!!

blink 182 is my favorite band since i was high school i really their song 😉

Great show. It was nice of Lil Wayne to show up and have a good performance. Travis Barker did an amazing drum solo
