Michael Franti & Spearhead played the St. Augustine Amphitheater with Sublime with Rome on July 25, and turned The Amp into a party!
Franti and the boys know how to throw a show that is for sure. It is none stop fun and killer music for all ages. This is a show you have to be there to grasp the energy of the band and the fans get from their show.
Franti is on tour in support of his new record, Stay Human Vol. II, out now via Thirty Tigers to extensive critical acclaim!! The album was heavily influenced by Franti’s work on his new award winning self-directed documentary Stay Human (currently on the festival circuit + available via streaming and on-demand).
Michael and the band are not just great musician they are fan friendly like not other band i know. Bringing fans up on the stage to sing a long on multiple occasions. As well as going out into the crowd to sing with the crowd a few times as well.
It was an all out party!! People were singing and dancing with their hands in the air from the start with “I’m Alive” to “Summertime Won’t Last Long” to one of my favorite ” Good Shit Happens Too” all the way to the end with “When The Sun Begins To Shine” and the peace du resistance, the John Lennon song ” Imagine ” to end the night him and the band locking arm with fans and everyone singing.
Here are what some of the fans were saying about the show:
Franti always always delivers an amazing performance
I have seen Michael Franti and Spearhead multiple times in concert. They never disappoint and always put on an outstanding show. We did VIP this time. Would do it all over again, any day.By Mary

Awesome Night !
Michael Franti Rocked the House . His music was great, we jumped, danced and hugged all night. MF was very kind to children and older folks bringing them on both stages, singing and dancing with them and telling stories. My first time seeing him but definitely not my last. Was my wife’s 60th BDay and she enjoyed it thoroughly.By M. K
