Live Review ~ BEST DAY Of MY LIFE Was The Day I Seen Sublime With Rome!

Sublime with Rome rocked. Perfect mix of old & new sublime music!

Alternative rock reggae favorites Sublime with Rome returned to the St. Augustine Amphitheatre for two nights on Thursday, July 25 and Friday, July 26, 2019 along with special guests Michael Franti & Spearhead and Common Kings.

With Sublime bassist and co-founder Eric Wilson anchoring the group, Sublime with Rome are armed with a new album that makes a
real statement… their statement. In support of Blessings, Sublime With Rome  hit the road starting June 2nd for their summer headline tour. The band will be hitting the major tour markets with special guests Michael Franti.

RIP Bradley Nowell; but Rome couldn’t be a better replacement. He sounds so much like Bradley and played nearly all old school Sublime. The opening bad Common Kings were pretty amazing and got invited back on stage to play with Sublime…and Michael Franti & Spearhead was a huge hit as well!!.. Loved the outdoor amphitheater of this concert and the laid back atmosphere. Very chill. Great concert!!!

Sublime with Rome rocked from star to finish, Opening the show with some old school stuff like ” Smoke Two Joints ” , ” Wrong Way ” and ” Date Rape ” and mixed it up with through out the night with some of their new songs as the crowd was full of energy and smoke (if you get my drift). They ended the show like they started it…Rocking their asses off to ” What I Got ” , ” Wicked Heart ” and last but not least, one of their biggest hits ” Santeria”

Sublime has some great older music to fill a show up with..but i will have to say, im really digging the new stuff as well. So make sure you go out and check them out on their last few remaining show !!

Common Kings’ style and music is a collection of inspirations orchestrated into an array of head rocking beats, feel good vibes, and emotional fever. Their crazy, fun-loving attitude compliments Common Kings’ live sound, producing phenomenal pop hits with rock, reggae, and R&B influences. These influences originate from each band members love for various genres, and widespread knowledge of music. The majority of Common Kings were born in the South Pacific, and raised in Orange County, California. Growing up with households full of colorful personality and vibrant passions for music, Common Kings’ members naturally grew up forming individual musical paths.
