Young The Giant Heats up 'The Amp' In St. Augustine Fl.
Young the Giant played on a hot summer night to a sold out crowd in Saint Augustine, Florida, and the fans did not care one bit if they baked in the heat. They were here to see the band they clearly loved and judging from the audience, I don’t think they left disappointed.
Known for their Indie rock music, the crowd ranged in ages from teenagers to grandparents, and that was the surprise I loved the most. It really left you knowing that music is a universal love.
Front man, and lead singer, Sameer Gadhia took the stage, and moved around with his dance moves as the crowd danced themselves. They sang a good amount of songs which included “Oblivion”, “Mind over Matter”, and the most appropriate song for the night was “Heat of the Summer”.
As the band wrapped up the show and left the stage the crowd clearly wanted more, and an encore of four more songs would be had. All around it was a good summer concert night for anyone that attended.
