New Album Review~ Sabaton - The Great War - Out 7/19

How have I missed this awesome band in the past? Sabaton is a true power metal band; hard hitting heart pounding rhythms, guitar riffs that are off the chart, vocals that rise and fall with the battle and lyrics that shout war themes awakening a desire to immediately enlist. Their new album, The Great War, is being released July 19th

“The Great War” track list:
01. The Future Of Warfare
02. Seven Pillars Of Wisdom
03. 82nd All The Way
04. The Attack Of The Dead Men
05. Devil Dogs
06. The Red Baron
07. Great War
08. A Ghost In The Trenches
09. Fields Of Verdun
10. The End Of The War To End All Wars
11. In Flanders Fields

The Great War takes the listener on a trip through World War I and the death and devastation at so many battles; paying tribute to the military units in 82nd All the Way, The Red Baron, and Devil Dogs; recalling great battles in A Ghost in the Trenches and The Fields of Verdun; showcasing the cost of war in The End of the War to End All Wars and closing the album with the incredibly melodic, emotion evoking In Flanders Fields.

The entire album is a pulsing, pounding, emotional up and down journey through the adrenaline inducing path of The Great War.

This album should be the soundtrack of a great movie or a broadway musical to rival Les Miserables. It is just plain kick ass superb!! Sabaton will be bringing The Great Tour to North America starting this October. Go see them!
