When did you first see KISS perform – 70s, 80s, 90s? Where did you watch/listen to their performance – live or MTV? What is your favorite KISS song? Did you watch/listen for the music or the performance – or both? The answers don’t matter – you came in huge numbers to see their End of The Road concert at VVMA. And KISS gave you an awesome performance complete with make-up, costumes, outrageous shoes, blood spitting, fire breathing, blazing pyro and great music.
The KISS army was out in mass complete with make-up and costumes at VVMA for the final performance of this iconic band. Paul Stanley, Gene Simmons, Tommy Thayer and Eric Singer rocked for 2 solid hours to a packed arena. The fans were up on their feet singing along to favorites like Shout It Out, Lick It Up, and Let Me Go Rock and Roll. Paul Stanley got the crowd working with Say Yeah and Gene Simmons treated the fans to his famous fire breathing during War Machine. Eric Singer brought the house down with his intense amazing 6 minute drum solo during 100,000 Years followed by Tommy Thayer’s incredible guitar solo in Cold Gin, and Gene Simmons’ solo on bass during God Of Thunder. Paul Stanley treated the KISS army by performing I Was Made for Loving You on a stage that floated through the crowd to the far end of the floor. KISS finished their set with Black Diamond to thunderous applause and demands for more. Returning to the stage, KISS performed three more songs, ending the night with Rock and Roll All Night.
It was a night to remember with incredible pyro, floating stages, great music, and amazing solo work. If the End of The Road Tour is coming near you, do not miss it – this is your last opportunity to see this spectacular performance.
