"Ded is a rising metal act that is leaving the living ded in their wake"

DED brings the noise that the Florida Theater has not seen or heard in a long time. The DED (Joe Cotela – lead vocals, David Ludlow – guitar, backing vocals, Matt Reinhard – drums, Kyle Koelsch – bass guitar, backing vocals) came out supporting POD and In This Moment on the Witching Hour Tour, this past weekend just before the hit the high seas on Shiprocked.

DED is not dead when it comes to playing their music, they hit the stage like they only know how to, HARD AND HEAVY. This nu metal band from Tempe Arizona wakes the crowd up with crushing guitar riffs by David Ludlow and crushing heart skipping beats drummer Matt Reinhard. Joe Cotela belted out some of their best screams in the business, he was flawless in his vocals of “Anti- Everything ”  (which came in at #8 on SiriusXM Octane’s Top 50 for 2017) which got some of the crowd up and moving. Joe kept the crowd going and the energy building with some of the hits from the Mis-An-thrope” album, which has been getting huge accolades in the music industry.

Mis-An-thrope” was named one of the Top 50 albums (#29) of 2017 by Metal Nation:

“Mis-An-thrope” was named one of Loudwire’s Top 25 Best Hard Rock albums for 2017!:

Ded continued to bring the Florida Theater crowd to its knees with songs favorites like ” Remember The Enemy” ” Hate Me“, and a fan favorite ” FMFY“, which really got the people up out of the chairs and pumping their fist in the air. The crowd was a little lackluster in their energy at first, sitting in their chair and not getting up and rocking out, but Joe and the guys seemed to get the energy up and warmed up. Towards the end of the set, the band had the crowd out of their chars and in the isles rocking the fuck out!!

Ded is named one of the “Rock Artists To Watch” for 2018 by Google Pay Music, and I can tell why. These guys really know how to bring the heat. The band is on the rise to be one of the best new band in 2018 and many years to come. So, the tour is just now ramping up and started a week or so ago, and will go thru February.

Go out and check out this band that is going places, we can wait to hear what they have next for their fan, but I’m sure it will rock the hell out !!
