[Review] Are you “Desperate” to see Barb Wire Dolls !

Barb Wire Dolls dont just look the part of hard hitting punk rockers..They bleed it!

Barb Wire Dolls made their mark in Jacksonville Fl. at Jack Rabbits this past week with their high energy in your face show…Jack Rabbits will never be the same after these insanely talented grunge punk rockers expoded on stage like a bomb. They are out supporting their newest indevor Desperate, released in North America early this year via Motörhead Music/UDR and serves as an edgy, thrilling first chapter in the life of a label whose mission is to present the most fiery new bands in rock and roll.

The band intelligently weaves sub-genres of punk, grunge, and metal, producing an urgent sound that is truly unique. Desperate contains gripping rock tracks, empowering anthems, and hard-edged thrashers, all performed with the classic punk rock energy the band has become internationally known for.

Hailing from an artist commune on the island of Crete, the band sold everything they owned and left crisis-ridden Greece in 2010 for Los Angeles. The band is fronted by the insanely talented vocalist Isis Queen, whos vocals are second to none with mind melting vocals and an attitude to go with it…  she is backed by the most talented band i have come across in awhile, with Pyn Doll blazin guitar skills and maga riffs from hell really makes this band run like a ticking time bomb ready to explode.  Remmington (rhythm guitar) is shy off stage but comes out of her shell to crazy energy on stage that is match by her masterful guitar work, she is a rock star. Krash Doll backs up the band on drums and pounds the skins like no other. Iriel Blaque on bass is also one to watch, she is a beast on the bass…Her energy is infectious and her bass playing is on point. And all the energy and rage spilled out to the fans off stage, as they mustard yup a small mosh pit to release the energy the band was blasting out in their faces.Isis and the rest of the band pours it out on the stage and leaves nothing left but blood and sweet…, One of the best live shows i have seen at Jack Rabbits..,if not all of Jacksonville!..They are a must see.!!
