Breaking News

Emerging metalcore band ATHENA has debuted a brand new video for “B.O.A.N“(Bastards Of A Nation). This is the second single (after the incredibly successful “Giving It All”) off “Dear/Life” – the band’s debut full-length album. “Bastards Of A Nation” exposes an incredible amount of raw, pure energy and powerful emotion that are aiming to express the group’s frustration about the very worrying current state of the world and the tendencies that are being established in it.

The exact concept of the song and the video is being described by the band in the following statement: “This song is a provocation, it’s our wail to this sick world that someone is trying to force us to love. The depraved society we live in is simply trying to entertain us with new objects, with the media, it is trying to shut our voices and direct our anger against each other. We feel like the bastards of a nation that don’t belong to it, we refuse to accept this constantly ongoing manipulation. “B.O.A.N.” is about everyone that feels as we do, people that want to stand up and scream against this corrupted system and deny to be numbed by its lies. It is a way out that goes nowhere, in the same way that it goes everywhere.”
