The highly anticipated tour of the year made it way through Florida, Blink 182 Summer Tour stopping at the MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheater to a SOLD OUT crowd that pack in like soggy hot Pokemons. The fans packed the Amphitheater parking lot to the hilt, as people waited in long car lines to get in to see the show. But I am sure if you asked if the wait was worth it any fan would agree it was.
The Blink 182 are out on support of the new album “ California ” which Has been getting rev reviews. They smashed out 24 killer songs that they could have just played the music, as the crowd would sing the lyrics of every song out loud, Which would almost drown Travis Barker Drums , Mark Hoppus and Matt Skiba vocals. Some of the all time favorites like ” Whats my name again” drew huge roars from the blink fans, and a new debut that they have never played call ” San Diego ” .. the crowd when nuts over. The closer was “Dammit”, with a Mark Hoppus drum solo for a little treat for everyone to remember this epic show.
Travis, Mark and Matt have the energy to get a 20,000 + crowd going and rocking out for over 2 hours, and the chemistry is there with Matt on guitar and that chemistry just feeds into the whole show. If you ever will regret missing a fantastic line up and show this year, this is the one you will regret if you miss it..!!
Blink was supported by two great bands in their own right that could pack the house in any venue. The All American Rejects and A Day To Remember both took it to the sold out crowd like a wild-fire out of control.
AAR definitely brought the heat to the stage , As ADTR even brought their, what seems to be now signature beach ball, for the crown and them to play with as they play. Both bands were a perfect fit for this show and did what any support band is supposed to do. KILL IT ON STAGE !!
The All American Rejects put on one hell of a show to open up the night !..The killed their stet and the fans that were still coming in witness a great energy from the guys. And they ever joke around with the crowd between song, which made them even more likable than theiry already are.
