The Moody Blues pack the St. Augustine Amphitheater for SOLD OUT SHOW !

DCS_9161-PanoThe Moody Blues have lit up the hearts and minds of thousands of rock fans at the St. Augustine Amphitheater this past Friday night when Graeme Edge (Drummer) John Lodge (Bass, Singer/Songwriter) Justin Hayward (Guitarist, Vocalist/Songwriter) hit the stage and brought the house down.. The Moody Blues have been around since the 60’s and singing with inspiring anthems like “Nights in White Satin,” “Tuesday Afternoon” and “I’m Just A Singer (In A Rock And Roll Band) which I am sure brought back fond memories for many of the bands fans that packed into the amphitheater on cool starry night.

The crowd eagerly waited for band to start, which was scheduled to start at 8pm, but like almost every show that i can remember being at they never start on time..and this was no exception, starting at a little after 8. But the band made up for the late start with some great songs like Gemini Dream with started off the first set, John and the guys made their way through hits like “You and me”, “Gypsy” and ended the first set of the night with the crowd favorite ” The Story In Your Eyes”.

The band took a short break from the stage and gave the fan a chance absorb all the greatness that just happened. You could hear the buzz in the crowd with people saying ” All of these songs are bring back so may memories”.

The band hit the stage with the second set , with and would swinging with songs like ” Tuesday Afternoon” and one of the most popular song of the BM ” I am Just a Singer ( In a Rock and Roll Band), once the band started playing that song the crowd went crazy and stood and sang along with the band. The one other song that stands out to be a fan favorite was ” Nights In White Satin”. The Blues played the night our with an encore with ” Ride Me See-Saw”

The Moody Blues may have aged a little, but they are still rocking and rolling with the best of them, The guys looked and sounded great throughout the whole night.
