CLAY CAGES Release “Rust” As Free Song Of The Day On PureVolume

Indie rock 5-piece Clay Cages has released their newest single “Rust” as the Free Song of the Day on PureVolume.  “Rust” is off the band’s upcoming, The Lenses We See Life Through, which is set to be released Fall 2015.

Danny Fields talked a little bit about the song “Rust”

“‘Rust’ is a song about reflection and how no matter how much one has changed, comfort can be found where you once called home.”

Clay Cages is an alternative/indie rock band hailing from Nashville, Tennessee. The Lenses We See Life Through is a concept EP about the change in a person’s outlook on life throughout their lifetime – each song represents a different stage of life, progressing from birth until death. Almost exactly a year after their debut EP, Tensionwhich Absolute Punk rated an 8/10 stars With musical influences ranging from post rock to classical to traditional hardcore, they bring a unique, yet accessible sound to the table.

Clay Cages is Danny Fields (vocals), Matthew Schumacher (guitar/vocals), Hayden Wadell (guitar), Austin Rolison(drums), and Daniel Farrin (bass).
