[Album Review] WSTR New Album “SKRWD” No Sleep Records out 4 September 2015

WSTR Album Review “SKRWD”

WSTR’s new EP titled “SKRWD” set to release September 4th showcases rhythmic tunes that will have you head bobbing. The first record has you remembering some good old rock bands like Sum 41 and New Found Glory, which is where the band got some of their music influences from. “I think our music reflects the music we love, yet it’s got an edge to it that doesn’t distance itself from what the genre has evolved into today,” says Sammy Clifford, vocalist of the up and coming band. With their harmonies and melodies that flow into each track, this album is definitely one to have if you’re in a funk or just want to rock out. They may sound like a heavy metal band at first, but once each track plays it will have you listening to every beat, every instrument and every tune that makes them unique. Make sure to add this new band to your playlist once there album is released.
