[INTERVIEW] We talk with James Hart of Burn Halo about new album “Wolves Of War” coming out 9/3 and headlining tour!!

Jacksonville Fl. – Burn Halo is set to head out on tour in early Sept in support of their new album ” Wolves Of War “, be released on Sept 4th. They will be hitting the road with Heartist and Courage My Love.

Burn Halo has a deeply devoted fan base that have been waiting for the new record, James says they are excited to get this record finally out to the fans, ” We have been sitting on this record for a good part a two year..trying to find a home for it that would give it the support and marketing that was important to the the band”.

WOLVES OF WAR , the first Burn Halo album through the California band’s new deal with eOne Music, burns with a fire akin to the brutal-but-melodic juxtaposition of New Wave Of American Heavy Metal standard-bearers Killswitch Engage, the neo Guns N’ Roses attack of Avenged Sevenfold, and the dark ambience of HIM. Fans who adored Burn Halo singles like “Save Me” and “Tear it Down” will be fall in love with Burn Halo all over again, even as longtime Eighteen Visions acolytes will delight in their throwback power.

When ask if this record style is what they were going after from the start or did it just evolve as they wrote, James commented

” It just totally came about ” saying ” when starting the record we were struggling to find out where we wanted to go…More metal, more stardard rock song, but those song we wrote were not to our liking..and Joey had a riff that he was playing for month, and we said lets just build around that riff, and from there the rest of the song came out more metal and more aggressive.

That riff James was talking about that started it all – ended up being a song called “FUCK YOU”, watch the video here http://bit.ly/1Jp3CFa

Burn Halo is now an uncompromising force of nature, celebrating the triumphant darkness of their singer’s musical past while charging forward with intense guitar licks, thundering percussiveness and an inventive vocal stamp that’s oft-imitated, but never duplicated. From the darkest recesses of 90s grunge, to the soaring heights of the best Active Rock channels, to the mosh pits of the underground, Burn Halo conquers ‘em all.
