Alt-rock six-piece Native Suns has released a new music video for their song “Lost”. The track, which premiered via Substream Magazine, is the first single from the band’s debut EP Relay. Acquire (release date TBA). The group features Mike Matejick, former guitarist for the Rise Records band Of Machines and is currently managed by The Artery Foundation.
“The video for ‘Lost’ follows the premise of an inner struggle between good and evil,” says Matejick. “It is a literal adaptation of the title itself… a lost soul who can’t give up a part of himself to move forward. We are all lost until we find balance within ourselves.”
Through the mutual yearning to create honest music, Native Suns has emerged from the heat of the Deep South to create a new and energetic sound. With deep roots already seated within the musical milieu of Atlanta, Georgia, this sextet draws added influence from notable artists such as The Smashing Pumpkins, Circa Survive, Mew, and This Will Destroy You. Partnered with The Artery Foundation, Native Suns has huge plans for the upcoming year. The band recently recorded their debut EP entitled ‘Relay.Acquire’ and will be releasing it in the summer 2015.
