It was the 1960s all over again when the Experience Hendrix 2014 tour hit The Times Union Center in Jacksonville Florida on Sunday, September 21st.

People in tie-dyed Jimi Hendrix shirts lined up outside The Florida Theater, Hoping to hear the soul of Jimmi Hendrix’s come the the fingertips of some of the greatest guitar to play on one stage at Experience Hendrix in in The Florida Theater.

The lucky fans who made it inside got treated to stellar renditions of Hendrix hits and classic compositions.   Guitar legends like Buddy Guy, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Jonny Lang and Zakk Wylde showed off their impressive chops while also paying tribute to the trailblazing guitarist who inspired them all!

Bassist Billy Cox, who played with Jimi Hendrix and has played every Experience Hendrix tour since the beginning, kicked off the concert with classics “Dolly Dagger” and “Power of Love”.

A rotating cast of musicians and singers filled the stage all night, with Rich Robinson bringing “A Message To Love”, Eric Gales storming through “Crosstown Traffic” and metal madman Zakk Wylde tearing up “Manic Depression”!

It was an amazing night filled with timeless music and truly inspired guitar playing. The Experience Hendrix tour is not a concert to be missed!
