GARTH BROOKS WORLD TOUR With Trisha Yearwood OPENS 6 DATES IN JACKSONVILLE

(September 12, 2014, Jacksonville, Fla.) – Jacksonville Veterans Memorial Arena will host the third stop on Garth Brooks’ new World Tour with Trisha Yearwood! Garth Brooks makes his first Florida appearance on The World Tour and returns to Jacksonville for the first time in over 17 years for an extended engagement, featuring six amazing shows. Three performances were originally scheduled on October 10th – 12th however, soon after tickets went on sale this morning, three additional shows on October 16th – 18th were added to accommodate the high demand.

“This is classic Garth Brooks, offering enough performances at an affordable price so that all his fans have a chance to experience his show,” says SMG General Manager, Bill McConnell. Tickets for Garth Brooks’ six Jacksonville show dates on October 10th, 11th, 12th, 16th, 17th, and 18th at 7:30pm are on sale now. There is an 8 ticket limit. Fans may purchase tickets at www.ticketmaster.com, ticketmaster.com/garthbrooks, by phone at1-800-745-3000 or Ticketmaster Express at 1-866-448-7849. Tickets will also be available starting tomorrow at Ticketmaster outlets and beginning Monday, Sept. 15that 10am at the Tom Bush Family of Dealerships Box Office located at the Jacksonville Veterans Memorial Arena. Please note select seats are protected with paperless delivery. Tickets are priced at $68.00.
